I would serve King Henry VIII a king-size Hershey's milk chocolate bar. For example, the only sugars he consumed were natural sugars in fruit and honey. This means that King Henry VIII has never eaten anything with added sugars before. King Henry VIII also ate about 5,000 calories of food each day, composed mainly of meat and poultry. This shows that his cravings, likely resulting from his obesity, would probably lead him to enjoy Hershey's milk chocolate, manufactured with huge amounts of added sugar inside it, very much. Therefore, because of King Henry's huge appetite and his lack of consuming added sugar products, I would serve King Henry VIII a bar of Hershey's milk chocolate. King Henry VIII should enjoy this bar of milk chocolate.

I would serve King Henry VIII a cheeseburger. According to the Hampton Court Palace, King Henry VIII used to eat large quantities of meat and bread. The court enjoyed fresh meat, while peasants had preserved meat. Vegetables were also considered for the poor. A cheeseburger has meat and bread, a diet he is used to, but also spices - to add flavor - and onions, pepper, or garlic. King Henry would have enjoyed not only the added flavor of the spices but also the fact that they were rare at the time, only reserved for the rich, and seen as a luxury good. Furthermore, a beef cheeseburger is heavy in saturated fat, carbohydrates, and protein. This would ensure that cheeseburgers can meet the diet requirements of Henry the VII, as he used to consume nearly 5000 calories a day. Though a cheeseburger has a lot of red meat that most likely will not alleviate the king's obesity, the nutritional components of a cheeseburger match with the king's diet at the time, according to many sources, including Tudor Times and the Hampton Court.

If I were to serve a food from today's world to King Henry VIII, I would serve him pancakes with maple syrup. According to a source, King Henry VIII's daily diet consisted of 5000 calories a day. His diet included large amounts of meat, bread, and sugar along with a serving of wine. Moreover, the King "did not like vegetables and considered them to be food for peasants. However, he did like the strawberries". This diet itself, is very close to what is popular in today's world, pancakes. Pancakes make up the bread portion, Maple Syrup consists of sugar, and a side of sausage will make up for the meat. King Henry would also prefer this with a bottle of wine and even topped with freshly cut strawberries. This complete meal will undoubtedly grant a prestigious title and land.

I would serve King Henry VIII apple pie cookies. King Henry's diet mainly consisted of meats, sweets, pottages, and other dishes. He tended to have a liking towards fruits and sweet dishes such as "a variety of pies, custards, and jellies." Therefore, King Henry would take a liking to the sweet and fruity flavor of the apple pie cookies. In addition, they would serve as a luxury food to match his royal status because of the rich sugar, creamy drizzle, and addition of spices like cardamom. The dish can completed with the addition of jelly to match the King's preferences, and a side drink of rich wine. Overall, the King would take a deep liking to apple pie cookies with a side of wine because they match his tastes and rich status.

If I had to serve King Henry VIII a food from today's world, I would serve him a nice Big Mac meal. According to therecipe.com, King Henry has consumed countless delicate luxury dishes in his whole life, so King Henry VIII would probably not be very amazed with any luxury gourmet dish he could just simply request anytime he wanted to. But during his time, he probably had never felt the joy of heavily processed chemical ingredients that nobody could pronounce hitting his taste buds. The taste of high fructose corn syrup in the condiments and the drink, the food coloring in the soda, the monosodium glutamate (msg), and many more others stacked together just in that one burger will definitely amaze and please him. Plus it is very calorie dense, with 1120 calories he can devour in about 5 minutes, it'd make a perfect snack in his 5000-calorie daily diet.

I would serve King Henry VIII Chicago style pizza and a fruit tart for dessert. This is because King Henry VIII's favorite dishes included venison, pies stuffed with oranges and an early version of beef olives called Aloes. As for desserts; jelly, tarts, fritters and strawberries are featured regularly. A Chicago style pizza is similar to pie which would provide King Henry with a sense of familiarity to his typical pie but also provided some excitement and change with the different flavors of saltiness along with the tart being a familiar dessert for him along with fruits that he enjoyed like strawberries. These foods are also very calorie dense which would support his extremely high calorie intake. Thus I would serve him a Chicago style pizza and fruit tart for him to not behead me.

I would serve King Henry VIII a Reuben sandwich, and strawberry cobbler. King Henry's diet was mostly composed of meat, bread and sugar, and he did not eat any vegetables because he hated their taste, but he liked strawberries. Fresh meat was seen as a commodity fit only for the court, and those who dine in the palace enjoyed 20 varieties of meat dishes during meals. King Henry also enjoyed a lot of bread and sugar. His favorite foods included pies, jellies, tarts, and other sweets. King Henry would love the Reuben sandwich because it has a lot of meat in it, and is made with bread. He would like the strawberry cobbler because it is a desert made of strawberries and is very sweet, and he likes strawberries and sugary items. These foods also have high calories, with the Reuben sandwich having 812 calories and the strawberry cobbler having 221 calories, giving him a good 1,000 calories in his 5,000 calorie diet. Therefore, I would serve King Henry a Reuben sandwich and strawberry cobbler to keep my head on my shoulders.

If I were to serve king henry VIII any present day foods, I would give him a corndog as the main meal and doughnuts. Many people in England say that King Henry VIII diet mainly consisted of dishes such as venison made out of meat, sugars, and desserts. King Henry VIII strayed away from vegetables as he believed they were for people from lower classes such as commoners, he ate many fruits often cooked and mixed into the desserts he enjoyed such as pies stuffed with oranges, honeyed fruits, etc. The only fruits that he was ever seen eating raw were Strawberries and cherries as people ate them regardless of hierarchy. I believe that he would like doughnuts as they have a high caloric value, high sugar content, and there aren't any vegetables that could prevent him from eating it. He would also like Corndogs as it contains highly processed meats and a 330 calories in each. Therefore in order to ensure that I continue on with the daily task of my life with my head on my shoulders I would serve King Henry VIII corn dogs and doughnuts.

If I could serve King Henry any food from the modern world, I would have to serve King Henry a good old fashioned Apple Pie à la Mode otherwise known as apple pie served with ice cream. First of all, King Henry VIII was known for having a humongous diet that consisted of vast quantities of spit roasted meat(quail, pork, mutton) topped off with the most expensive and extravagant way to demonstrate his power, spices.(owlcation) More notably, there is plenty of evidence that suggests that King Henry enjoyed a variety of sweet dishes, such like custards, fritters, and pies. Often, these dishes would contain some sort of sweet fruit like cherries, apricots, and peaches.(thetudortravelguide) Therefore, I believe that King Henry VII would definitely enjoy Apple Pie à la Mode as its delicious, golden brown, flaky crust accompanied by some gooey, decadent tart apple filling, contrasted with some sweet, creamy, vanilla ice cream is certainly a dish fit for the palate of King Henry VIII.

I would serve King Henry VIII a whole strawberry cream cake. According to the Tutor Travel Guide, he ate a variety of sweet desserts, so a strawberry cream cake would be perfect for him. A strawberry cream cake would be made of strawberries, which he loved, and eggs, flour, vanilla extract, heavy cream, and sugar. This would be perfect because there is a lot of rich sugar in this dish and would be considered a luxury food. King Henry VIII also ate a lot in one day, so giving him a whole cake will make him more full. Therefore, I would serve King Henry VIII a whole strawberry cream cake.

I would serve King Henry VIII a whole chocolate cake. King Henry VIII is known to have eaten an extreme amount of food, and his favorites were poultry-based dishes, such as pork, lamb and beef, and sugar-heavy desserts such as custards, pies, and jellies. He particularly ate a lot of sugar; he ate many sweet dishes but also sweetened his wine with a great quantity of sugar. In light of his appetite, a whole chocolate cake would be perfect to his liking, as it has fair amount of calories, which he consumed much of, and has a great deal in amount of sugar, one of his favorite ingredients.

If I was required to serve King Henry VIII a meal he would love, I would serve him a 30 inch pizza with dense toppings coated with sugar. Because he was so morbidly obese and consumed around 5,000 calories per day, it would take an excessively calorie dense meal to satiate his desire for food, hence the 30 inch pizza. Furthermore, he enjoyed sugar and meat, which is why we will add a diverse range of dense meat toppings such as, Peacock. Evidently, this would be the optimal food to lessen the probability of decapitation because it incorporates all of the primary elements of his diet.

I would serve panna cotta to King Henry VIII. Panna cotta is a dessert consisting of sweetened cream thickened with gelatin and can include other flavorings as well to fit any type of need. Panna cotta is a diverse dessert which is flexible according to one's liking. According to the Tudor Travel Guide, King Henry VIII liked custards and jellies for dessert. Panna cotta is a beautiful, delectable blend of both worlds, making it a dessert he would be sure to enjoy.

If I was transported to the court of the English King Henry VIII, I would serve him a McDonald's Big Mac. According to Owlcation, seeing as though the average Tudor diet consisted primarily on meat, King Henry VIII indulged in large quanitites of meat. Being as so a Big Mac is comprised of beef, the source of sustanance would prove befitting in Henry's diet. Furthermore, based on LinkedIn, King Henry VIII consumed an estimated 5,000 calories per day, which is twice the amount of calories consumed daily by an average man. The Big Mac would help meet this calorie goal, as it is made of high-fat beef patties, combining with other ingredients to make a whopping 563 calories in one sandwich. Also, with vegetables being widely consider as food for the peasantry, King Henry seldom indulged in the nutritious substances. This remains true with the Big Mac, as it contains a very small amount of vegetables, which can be removed upon request. Finally, consequenting from his obesity, he probably had strong cravings for food. With the aromatic smell of the burger and the cheese appearing like melted gold, King Henry VIII would simply drool over a Big Mac.

If I was to serve King Henry VIII any food from today, I would give him chicken tenders. For example, the king was known to eat lots of meat and bread. This means that he would most likely enjoy a good chicken tender because they consist of meat (the chicken) and bread (the breading). This shows that chicken tenders could perfectly fit his usual diet. Which would mean that I will be granted with a prestigious title and land thankfully and that I get to keep my head.

As for dessert I would give him jelly.
