Women should be drafted in the military, should the time come that it is necessary. If the time were to come where this is necessary that would mean it is for the protection of the country and would therefore have higher stakes. Currently, women are exempted from military drafting, however by drafting women into the military, this would increase the effectiveness of our military. Of course, there are exceptions to be made. As there are already exemptions on drafting for men, such as men with disabilities and men who are hospitalized being exempted, these should be applied to women as well. However, as women are physically different from men, extra exemptions should be made. As more women scientifically do not physically meet the requirements to engage in dangerous and on ground combat, then those exceptions should be executed. Additionally, quite most importantly, women who are pregnant or with children aged 0-18 should be exempted. It’s important to have a mother caring for a child, and of course additionally a father, but when the time comes that military drafting is necessary for the country, women are more biologically apt for domestic roles. The drafting enlistment age would also be 18-25 (as it is with men as well), and so older women would not have to worry about becoming drafted either.

Women shouldn't be included in the military draft, but they should have a choice as to whether or not they want to enter the military. In the majority of cases and unlike the men, women lack the physical prowess that is necessary in order to partake in battles. For instance, according to Royal Society Publishing, men typically have more muscle mass, height, and weight than women, which allows them to enter into combat more effectiviely. Furthermore, through an increased number of women in the military, there will be increased incidents of sexual assault or harrasment according to VAWnet, which will increase conflict on friendly lines, ultimately, further adding to the likelihood of success for the enemy. Despite these reasonings, there are also claims supporting women being included into the draft. These women could play a large role in special units of the military such as the Medical Corps and more in times of dire need.

Women should be included in military draft, with some limitations. Many believe that "should our nation face a catastrophe so large we need to activate our selective service system, we must be ready to have all hands on deck. That includes women.” Moreover, the drafting of women symbolizes the equality of males and females and the epitome of women's rights. However, not all women can enlist in the military because there must be a portion of the population in the home front who are running factories, the media, and agriculture to provide food, weapons, and motivation to the country. Thererfore, although not all women should be included in the military due to economic reasons, they should nevertheless be allowed to join to military.

Women should be included in military draft. Excluding women in military drafts damage the principles of equal rights and citizenship. All citizens, regardless of gender, should share responsibilities in defending the nation. While some might argue that due to biological differences, women are less suited for combat roles, lots of modern equipments and aircrafts are actually proved harmful for men. For example, the A-10 Thunderbolt II (Warthog) equipped with a powerful 30mm GAU-8 main cannon. The uranium rich rounds it fires will cause testicular cancer to the operator sitting right above the cannon. As an result, most A-10 aircrafts are operated by female pilots.

Women should not be drafted in the military. The ongoing debate about what women can or cannot do often relies on the biological differences between men and women. The sudden push for women to be included in the military draft seems purely petty and a way to challenge the ideas of gender equality that suggest that women can do everything men can. A section of an article written by Mary Beth Waddell J.D. on FRC, explains how the military should be focused on the safety and security of our nation and not be willing to risk many lives just to prove a point. Even though the practical challenges that come with women being in the military are widely known and recognized, there are still women who willingly serve in the military. The privilege to choose to serve should not be taken away but forcing women to be in the military would not only be unnecessary but would disrupt the way we do everything as a whole like why professional sports are not coed. Therefore, drafting women should only happen if it genuinely benefits the country, rather than being a mocking gesture, but this shouldn't prevent the women who want to serve from doing so.

Women should not be drafted into military service. Currently, according to an article by Mary Beth Waddell in the Family Research Council, all male U.S. citizens between 18 and 25 must register with the Selective Service System, which manages military drafting. Women are exempt from this, but recent changes in 2021 point toward women having to in the future, not only in the U.S. but also elsewhere. However, Waddell states, "We believe female conscription to be an ill-conceived and reckless policy." The U.S. has not employed this coed draft since 1973, and there are more than enough male service members in military services. About 1.1% of males in the U.S. are serving in the military, so if need be, more males can still serve in the military, given their generally stronger physical state, without harming the demographics of the country. Since military drafting is random and tests for fitness are lax, drafting women into the military could lead to a less adequate military than before.

Women should be included in the military draft. The debate over including women in the military draft revolves around issues of fairness, equality, and national defense. While proponents argue for equal opportunity and capability, critics question the necessity of a draft in modern times and its effectiveness in enhancing national defense. Concerns also arise about political agendas influencing military matters and compromising core principles of military service. Critics emphasize the importance of voluntary service and addressing underlying issues affecting youth qualification for military duty. Ultimately, the debate reflects broader societal concerns about government role, individual freedoms, and military policy direction.

I believe that women should be able to participate in the military draft. The Department of Defense's decision to allow women to serve in all combat jobs in 2015 removed the main argument in favor of a male-only draft, making the historical exclusion of women from it outdated. This historic decision promotes gender equality while validating women's talents in all military roles. Beyond issues of equality, women's participation in the draft is strategically necessary to strengthen America's security. Including women in the draft would greatly increase the pool of talent, which is essential to tackling the present problems with military recruiting and the requirement that modern combat requires a diversified range of talents. Bills and commission suggestions have also supported this point of view, calling for revisions to the Selective Service to consider the evolving nature and needs of military service. Moreover, the case for women's participation in the draft acknowledges a variety of tasks that are essential to military operations, many of which are now held by distinguished women. This viewpoint goes beyond just supporting women in combat roles, stressing the value of everyone sharing responsibility for protecting the country, regardless of gender, and endorsing the practicality of recruiting women.
